Engineer by training and artist by passion, I love to explore form. Form in nature, form in people, form in environments. I have translated form initially though sculpture, mostly with figurative work. Today, I translate what I see mostly through painting. I like creating the depth and form that I learned from sculpture into my paintings. I enjoy how color and shapes can translate into form, depth and mass. I like creating art that depicts a situation. Situations that include emotions. Emotions from the image or scene. Emotions that the viewer can connect with to create a small story.
